Particular screen

Post by Bill »

Walt, I hope that this is my last question (until next week).
Surfing the CDBoard I activated a screen that, I think, has been discussed previously. It is what I have been looking for and I found it by archiving. Looks like this:
Forum Topic Author Replies Views Last post

I really like the format. Is this the WWW format? How do I get there easily and have it as a default?

Viewing the board with a different layout...how to...

Post by Cathy Monaghan »

Hi Bill,

You'll find the answers to many of your questions right here in the "About this Board" forum. Look at the top messages in the forum. They are all either Announcements or Stickys and they are all "how tos". Please read the "<a href="http://www.capedory.org/board/viewtopic ... 2">Viewing the board with a different layout...how to...</a> " topic and it will answer your question regarding the board layouts.

Cathy,

I find that I do not see my selected format if I select the "View posts since last visit" link. If I go to the forum itself, i do see my selected format. Is this the way things should behave?

Format Viewing Topic Lists

Post by bilofsky »

Bob,

The only view that has been modified is, indeed, the forum index page.

The other topic lists - from View Posts since Last Visit, the Search function, viewing a member's posts from the Memberlist, etc., are all listed under just the topic title; no replies are shown.

Changing this would be difficult. So hopefully it's something we can live with.

No problem, Walt. I just wanted to be sure I didn't miss something.
