Winch Problems

I am in the process of restoring a 1975 Cape Dory 25 with what I suspect is original (darn near antique) winches.
There is a black rounded plastic washer that holds the winches together via a bolt that attaches to the center stem. Is there anyone who knows where I can get original replacement washers? There are no markings on the winches that I can find, inside or out.
Any thoughts?
