Cape Dory 300 Motorsailer

I am planing to purchase a CD (30') "300 Motorsailer" - which I plan to use for coastal cruising and "gunkholing" along the Texas gulf coast and intracoastal ww. She is a 1987 model is average to better condition. (Rare around this area) I do not know anyone who has any knowledge of the boat - it's "fair price" and if there is enough demand for this MS to make it resale-able if I ever go back to pure sailing. Anyone with any knowledge
or experience with the 300 Motorsailer - sailing, powering, performance, maintenance and values - I would really appreciate hearing from you. Come-on down to Texas & we'll spend a week cruising
