Typhoon Roller Furling

I've just purchased a 1974 Typhoon in poor shape. I'm considering a jib furler. Did the originals have jib furlers? Are originals available? What about new ones: best model, tips, etc. Thanks, Marvin

Marvin, I just put CDI gear on my CD25'. I happen to have a luff for this gear cut to 25'-6" which is shorter than the luff you would require for the Typhoon. All you would then need is the drum and swivel from CDI. First you should shop around and if you like how the CDI fits into your plan let me know and maybe i can help you save some money. Good luck.
