Message for Walt B....

Post by D. Stump, Hanalei »

Walt,
I've noticed recently that when I read a message on the board and then go back to the main message board with my "back" button, the message I just read is no longer HiLited a different color. That makes it difficult for me to tell if I have already read a message or not. Is it something I'm doing wrong? The computer folks here at work say that the feature is something you control, but I only have enough computer skills to be dangerous! Would appreciate your help...great site!!

On my Netscape browser, under File/Preferences/Appearance/Colors, I can choose the colors of answered and unanswered messages. Maybe you've inadvertantly upset this. Things work fine for me.

Also - on Netscape's Edit | Preferences | Navigator page, you can set the number of days for links to expire. If this got set to a small number, the highlighting would revert quickly to the original color.
