I am not sure how well know this is but plain supermarket vineger does a good job of cleaning up non-hardened epoxy. It cleans brushes and tools better than acetone.

Is this the apple cider vinegar or the white vinegar?

Just plain white supermarket vinegar works fine. Keep an old can full and rinse your "throw-away" brushes. They will last many uses before the trash can. Note: This will NOT work on hardened epoxy.
