Can anyone tell what is the recommended angle of heel for the CD-33? What is the maximum before reefing? Regardless, I sail her up until when it feels right, but I'm curious to know.

Re: CD-33 angle of heel
20 degree angle of heel is comfortable but once up to 25 or esp. 30 it's good to put in a reef in as the boat will sail on its feet and be a better performer.
Have fun!!!

My experience with the CD28 is that she'd rather sail on her feet. Once I get to 15 degrees or so, more wind and more heel doesn't make her go any faster and just increases the weather helm. I do just as well with a reef in the main, sailing more comfy without a loss of speed.
