Spartan Marine at Robinhood still sells the screens through their catalogue.

I purchased these from Spartan in the summer of '97 and noted;
1. Glue dissolves in fresh water.
2. The structural material (plastic) is LIGHT duty - not substantial.

_____________

At my last check...$25/ea was not inexpensive. With age, my 26 screens had separated into its two "layer" halves...but I had good luck in applying epoxy to rejoin them and sandwich the screen back in.
Not knowing what the condition of your screens are....just a thought.

I went to a plastics shop and had them cut out ovals from lexan. I glued and screwed them together with plastic screws with the screen between just like the CD ones. They are much stronger than CD's as Lexan is flexible and nearly unbreakable. Cost for all 11 ports was about $100. ONly drawback is plastics place found it was MUCH more work to do than they had thought and would never do it again. But that was in Rochester NY and maybe you can find an unsuspecting plastics shop where you are.

Thanks for the info, Leo, I think you just saved me some money. I was planning on ordering these screens from Spartan.

There was a message posted on this board last year with details on how to make your own screens. If anyone wants to look it up, its message number 2925 posted on 1/6/98. I think I'll try the DIY route. If nothing else, it'll give me something to do until the spring thaw.
