I have a line on buying a CD 25 that has been refitted with a diesel. This is not a 25D. Has anyone heard of such a thing? Also can you guys give me a price range for this boat. It's a 1976 hull#434. All comments much appreciated.

I am no expert, but my best advice is to find someone who is. I was about to buy a CD25 on Saturday but decided to get a survey first. I didn't buy the boat which broke my heart, but I didn't get @&%$#*&^%ed either.
Call Charles Bullock at American Marine Surveyors. He's a 20 year ex-navy vessle engineer and a forthright person.
He should be able to help you out.
