My daughter (15) just bought her first boat, a Typhoon (her Sunfish was given to her). This Typhoon was sitting in the woods for 6 years, wouldn't have seen it if the leaves weren't off the trees. We checked it over and the hull is sound and the rigging needs a little work. Some good elbow grease should restore her it nicely, which is good because my daughter doesn't have much money to do much else.
Part of the deal on her getting the boat is that she covers expenses (learn young... same thing my dad did with me when I wanted a boat). Anyway, I told her I'd see if I could find used parts for her.
Does any one have a used sail cover, sails (the ones with the boat MIGHT make it one season), berth cushions, or anything else? (the boat was stripped) Any kind of shape is fine... providing that the price is reasonable.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Typhoon Weekender parts/sails
Tom,
Ah yes, know the time and feelings only my daughter found a '67 MGBGT sitting out in a field. We trailered it home and she stripped it and rebuilt it. Has it still (she is 31 now).
I have my original main. The fabric is a bit stretched but still very serviceable. Your daughter is more than welcome to it. Had a sail cover but haven't seen it for a while...will look around. Also may have the covers from an old set of cushions. She could use them for patterns if she wishes, but I would want them back eventually. Does she need hardware too?
