I need to repaint the bottom of Cutie Pie. Does anyone knows a place near Charleston that will do the job, or where I can dry dock and do the job myself. Better yet , does anyone know of a trailer that I can rent for 2 or 3 weeks?
What type of paint should I use? Sorry for all the questions ...but y'all are great help.
Thanks ..... Zé Siqueira.

Re: Bottom Job on CD 22'
I did the bottom of my Typhoon "Regalo" last spring. She was hauled at a yard that had a lot of huge powerboats, so they didn't give me a hard time about doing my own painting. I scraped off some barnacles and lightly sanded the old paint (Fiberglass Bottomkote). I put on two coats of Micron CSC, it took 2 Quarts. This fall, the bottom looked very good-no growth at all. It also depends, I think, on the usage the boat gets, and the water temp; I live in the NYC area. Also on how many times you run the boat aground.
PS-The paint has to be mixed VERT well-I stopped at Home Depot on the way to the yard and had the guy in the paint dept shake up the cans in his machine for 15 min.
