I am in the process of buying a Cape Dory 25D in the San Diego area. Currently I plan on having the boat trucked up to Portland Oregon, but I would be willing to bring it up myself if I could find a good quality trailer for a reasonable price. Any leads?

For approximately $2,000 you can have yourself a very nice trailer that would be capable of carrying a variety of sailboats not just a CD25D. Start with a good quality used power boat trailer and convert it to a sailboat trailer with adjustable jack stands. Check a few out, it's not that difficult.
