Am approaching the point of looking seriously for a Typhoon to purchase, but really need it to fit (on the trailer) under a canopy next to the house. If anyone has the vertical measurement from the ground to the cabin top, would appreciate it. (Willing to convert from metric to feet.)

How Tall the Typhoon on the Trailer?

Re: How Tall the Typhoon on the Trailer?
WHILE I AM SURE IT DEPENDS ON THE TRAILER (MINE IS A SINGLE AXLE WITH 15" WHEELS) MY HIGHEST POINT IS 78" FROM THE GROUND.William Ford wrote: Am approaching the point of looking seriously for a Typhoon to purchase, but really need it to fit (on the trailer) under a canopy next to the house. This should muddy the height question. I just measured my 1976 Typhoon Weekender, sitting level on a tandem axle trailer. The highest point appears to be the bow pulpit. At this point it is 103" or considerably taller than the previous boat's height. This trailer is a shorelander that has been converted for this boat. Consequently it does not have low slung axles and the keal pan is several inches above the axles. The variables will be the trailer, daysailer or weekender, and with or without lifelines, but if your canopy is 10' or better, you should be able to find a boat to fit.
