Last year I had a new Yanmar and prop installed on my CD33. At 4 knots and above while under engine power there is a significant vibration I believe may be caused by an improperly sized prop which is causing this vibration or cavitation. Is there a correct prop size for the 33? Has anyone experienced this type of noise or vibration?
Your input is appreciated.

Re: Correct Prop size for CD33
Last year i replaced my prop shaft. In the process I did a lot of web surfing and found several prop shaft locations. At least 2 had forms to fill out about your boat so that you could select the right size and pitch prop. I don't have the URLs any more but I found them on Yahoo or one of those search engines.
Vibration can also occur if the engine was not aligned correctly. I know of more than one case where the mechanic forgot to tighten the engine mount nuts and the engine worked a little out of position and started to vibrate. Alignment is usually to several thousands of an inch so it doesn't take much.
