Avon Rover Serial Number

Does anyone have experience with the R3-10? And, can you help me decipher a serial number to determine its age? AV 59941BH09

I have an Avon 310 inflatable with solid plywood flooring (3 sections) that I bought in 1996. It's serial number is AVB 89001K495. I'm not sure that helps but maybe you can refer directly to a merchant who carries them to find an answer. Check at the following:

Avon HINs should start with AVB as the Manufacturer's ID Code. As best I can tell, there is no AV manufacturer ID.

I used the Avon for two years while sailing in the Thousand Island region of the St. Lawrence River. It was great for what we used it for getting from the boat to the islands. With the inflatable keel, it tracks nicely. Lots of room. I have a 4 hp Evinrude I use with it but since I bought my new CD330 (which came with a new RIB), I haven't used the Avon. In fact, I don't even use the RIB. Our enjoyment in sailing is usually anchoring out and spending the night on the boat. We rarely have use of a dinghy to go ashore.
