Craftsman 5 HP air-cooled outboard

Anyone have any idea what this motor would be worth? I have a chance to buy one. It runs, and is fair in appearance.

Joe,are you sure it's a CRAFTSMAN motor. SEARS or TED WILLIAMS would be more likely. Has the motor been used in salt water? I have been with SEARS for thirty years and have some knowledge of these motors.
Email with a few more details and I will try to pin down a price.

manufacturer. A common one was made by Eska and sold with the Sears Gamefisher name. They are not known for their reliability. The first year I owned my boat I used one that a friend had and it lived up to it's reputation, frequently dying at inopportune moments. Here's an ad for a used one: He's asking $160. http://chicago.craigslist.org/for/5357697.html

Tried to reply off line; email returned. Motor is Sears, and I think Ted Williams. "Craftsman" was how the guy referred to it. Frankly, it's part of a dinghy/engine package. I like the dinghy, but would sell the engine. Trying to get to fair market value. Model # 217 58541-0; SN 5A 167315. Thanks for your help.

I just sold a 5HP game fisher for $150. I also had a 3HP & used to carry both so I could get back to the dock.
