A good friend of mine has a brother who works at the Quantum sail loft in Maryland and just made new sails for his Catalina 22. Their sail are VERY nice. If you are contemplating sails for your Cape Dory I would highly recomend Quantum.

I had Quantum Northeast make a new main and working jib for my Typhoon last year and am very pleased with the result. I have to admit that I chose them on the basis of price, but couldn't be more pleased with the result.Unfortunately, I ordered the sails late in the season and only got to use them a couple of times last season, but we got our money's worth this year. Never having owned new sails, I was amazed at the increase in performance.People had told me that I would be surprised as I had been sailing with the original 1976 sails that came with the boat. The new sails needed some minor adjusting, which Quantum was happy to do over the winter. I would recommend them highly.
