Has anyone had any experience replacing the fuel hoses on a cd30?
I have two black iron cylindrical tanks (16 gallons each, I think) mounted high in each of the cockpit lazarettes. The surveyor recommended replacing the hoses to conform to today's standards. I'm wondering about the use of a heat gun to remove/install hoses in that environment. Also, whether it will be necessary to bleed the fuel lines once the new hoses are in. Thanks.

Re: Fuel hoses for cd30
Bill... I have two thoughts... #1. I would NOT use a heat gun! Cut the hoses off and clean the hose barb fittings after the old hoses are removed. #2. You will defintely have to bleed the lines after you install the new lines...but it isn't rocket science, and it's something you need to know how to do anyway. Check your manual, or ask someone to show you how. Boat shows are always a good place questions like this.
