CD25D bimini

Post by Randy Bates »

I'm trying to figure out the best way to accomadate a bimini on a CD25D. What size works while still being able to use the main? Where to mount and not interfer with the winch, block the lifeline gates, make getting into out of the cockpit a pain? I'm thinking of a 6'3" long by 36" maybe 46" high, 67-72" wide, mounted on the outside of the cockpit backrest about midway between the winch and the cabin bulhead. How far forward does it need to be to keep it out of the mainsheets way?

Randy,
Comments on CD 26 biminis apply to 25Ds as well -- the measurements are the same. I had one and sold it to a 26 owner because it was in the way for me at 6'5". I'd much rather have a dodger.
