I hate selling boats, forget about the emotional loss, it's the haggling with brokers and buyers that drives me nuts. Does any one have any suggestions and/or secrets they'd be willing to share on how to sell a boat at a fair price and convey the overall condition so the seller doesn't feel like a buyer's trying to steal the boat? I know and understand that they'll always be a certain amount of healthy exchange between both parties. How do you convey that just because you're willing to sell below buck doesn't mean the boat has problems. It might mean you just had an operation and are not using your boat and love her to much to just see sit. Bottom line--how does one find a good home for a loved one?

Soundingspub.com is a good place to try out. I check their website frequently and it is very accessible. They also have the most comprehensive publication that I have found. Just list your price as firm and by-pass the dickering.
