CDSOA, Inc. Rendezvous Itinerary

Post by Catherine Monaghan »

The itinerary for this summer's rendezvous events is available on the CDSOA's web site on the "Events" page at:

<a href="http://www.toolworks.com/cdsoa/events.h ... tEvents</a>

Please mark your calendars.

All Cape Dory sail and powerboat owners (and wannabees), members and non-members, are welcome to attend any and/or all of the segments. Can only make it to one destination? That's fine. We'd love to have you even if for only one day.

Please visit the CDSOA's "Events" page often as we will be updating that page as more information concerning the events becomes available.

Thanks,
Cathy

Cathy-

Many thanks for the schedule of next summer's events. I plan to join the association shortly and am hoping to attend some of the events and meet some of the folks I have been conversing with all these months. I am quite excited about the whole thing (sometimes doesn't take much...).

Clay, I know how you feel. I finally mailed out my CDSOA membership form on Monday. I too am looking forward to getting out with everyone I can. I am joining the Chesapeake fleet. So I will only be able to enjoy the NE fleet as a spectator. The Chesapeake fleet's meeting is this Saturday on Solomons Island. I am feeling somewhat bitter that I will be unable to attend. However, things calm down for me in the summer and so I will be attending the water events. I also look forward to recieving the newsletter. More good CD stuff!!
Happy Sailing (soon I hope).

Crew Berth Availability - NE Fleet

Post by Leo MacDonald »

Will et el,

The NE Fleet plans on making crew berths available this summer (as last summer) for our 'out of area' brethren. (Tell 'em Ed.) When we get to the mechanics of 'Registration Forms', etc., we'll be providing space for the captain to indicate crew berth availability and for potential crewmembers to indicate their desire for a crew berth, etc. - stay tuned.

In a perfect world, I can get a spot on an invasion fleet from the Chesapeake. If the world stays normal, I would definately enjoy the oportunity to be a guest crew member for a day or so on a NE fleet vessel. I will keep an eye out for info on this in the future. Will

Will and other folks:

I almost always sail alone....my loving wife does not share my passion for sailing (but she does go occasionally). I am hoping to hit some of the events this summer and would be glad to have crew. I sail out of Bristol, Rhode Island. Let me know if you would like to crew at some point.
