Cradle for a CD-30 sail

Cradle for a CD-30 sail
Hanalei arrived without a cradle! Thinking ahead to this fall, I'd like to build one instead of having the yard put her on poppets. Does anyone have a set of plans for a cradle, or, do you have a cradle close to Mystic, CT that I could look at and measure up? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Re: Cradle for a CD-30 sail
I'm nowhere near you, but I have what appears to be the original CD30 wooden cradle, made out of treated 2x8's and 4x4's. Coincidentally, I'm intending to move my cradle next week, and I'm going to have to partially dismantle it to fit it into my cargo van; so, I'm going to take my camera and shoot the hell out of it so I can put the thing together again. I'd be glad to send you copies, and enough dimensions to serve as a pattern if you like. Just zap me a snail-mail address.

Geoff,
Thanks for the information. I E-mailed my address to you earlier today, if you don't get it let me know on this site and I'll try again. Thanks again.

Re: Cradle for a CD-30 sail
Dave;
In case you've been wondering what became of me, the cradle rescue-attempt scheduled for two weeks ago had to be scuttled, and last week we cruised to Lake Erie; so, I'll be making another attempt this week...I did get your address, thanks. I have a friend in the photo-processing biz whom I have develop my film cheaply (ie, free!), but the trade-off is that it takes a bit longer...so, bear with me, should be a few weeks yet, but the cost to both of us should be negligible.
Take Care,
Geoff
