Not "on the hard"

Post by nancy martin »

This is going to open a "can of worms" but not everyone's sailing season is over. For those of us in the south we do sail year round.

The invitation is open to all Cape Dory owners to "come on down" and sail anytime. Our season goes from January 1st to December 31st. Then we start all over again.

Nancy,
AAAAAHHHHH! That invitation is TEMPTING!!! Lucky you posted it now when it hit 68 degrees on Long Island (on Dec 5th)! If you posted it during a blizzard methinks your phone would be ringing off the hook and the Cape Dory snow birds would be migrating south by the flock! Seriously, the gesture is truly gracious!

Last year I towed my Typhoon down to the Mobile/Pensacola area. I may go back to that area again. Where in the south does this offer for a sail on a CD exist? If close, I may love to take you up on the offer.

John, I saw Joe's SLOW DANCE while in Alabama recently and she is spectacular on deck. If you take him up on his offer you'll see a fine example of a CD30 and enjoy Joe's company as well. If by chance you make it as far east as Apalachicola get in touch with me and we'll take LINDA LOU for a sail. Greg Phillips CD25#469 LINDA LOU
