Nice to have found this board. I am purchasing a 1974 CD28. Needs a little work but otherwise seems to be in really fine shape. I just wanted to introduce myself. I have a feeling I will be posting a bunch of questions in the future.

Welcome Aboard!
This is the place to ask your questions and to offer answers all right. There is even some piratical activity reported to be happening in this group. Fun place and nice folks.

Cheers,

Welcome, we have had our 1977 CD 28 since last April and really enjoy her - she is the best boat we have owned and is a joy to sail.

Captain,

The entire Fleet welcomes you aboard. A hand salute to you and may we have a glass of wine together some day at see. Don't forget to officially join the CDSOA, it is a fine organization!

Phil:

Welcome to the site. I was in your shoes just 12 months ago when I bought my 1st sailboat (a CD30). In a very short period of time this place will become your favorite site. Great people, great ideas, priceless experience.

Hi Phil - We too were in your shoes just a little over a year and a half ago when we bought Artesani, CD27 #267. Our only regret is that we waited as long as we did.

She is now almost completely restored to bristol condition. Everything we have learned has been from the wonderful and friendly guidance we have received on this board. The archives are a treasure chest of infomation. Hardly a day goes by that I don't find myself consulting them.

We hope that your new vessel will bring you as much joy and pleasure as ours has.

Fair Winds!

Jack
