Method for sealing coamings without caulking

I sent Mr. Bilofsky pictures and story of mounting my coamings without caulking. Since I don't have a website, he suggested I put a note on the board.

For anyone wanting a neat, clean method of sealing your coamings, and mount screws, without caulking, I've put together a Word document with pictures and instructions. It is a very quick and easy solution, and has not leaked in some very heavy rain, today.

Jim sent me his attachement, and it is really clear and instructional. It is well worth asking him for download. It would great is we could set up a library at the site where the mechanically gifted could teach the mechanicallly challenged how to do different jobs. Jim's effort would be a great start.
