When I bought my boat, all the reefing gear was stripped off the boom.
I am searching for some info, pictures, directions from other 33 owners as to how the reefing gear was set up. My hull number is #40 and the boat was built in 1981.
Any help/comments would be most appreciated.
Thanks very much........sea u

Re: 33 CD - Installing reefing hardware on boom
Mike,
I've got a CD330 and the boom is set up with pad eyes to hold the loop of the clew reef lines in place on the port side of the boom. On the starboard side of the boom, there are turning blocks which lead the reef lines forward through a larger pad eye and jam cleet. There is a small lewmar winch and cleet forward of that near the mast.
Let me know if this helps or you have any q's.
