Does anyone have a nice Photo or description of an original CD-30 hull stripe below the toe rail. I would like to add one to my 30 and keep it factory in appearance. Was it a factory option? Standard equipment? What colors were available? Was mine just waxed away on my '83 hull. As always, your advice and cousel is appreciated. If you have digital photos my email address is rrau@att.net Thanks -

Re: CD-30 Hull Stripe
5/8" vinyl probably brown. about 4" below the toerail. If you can find it, be sure to peel the clear film off of the top when you're done.Russell Rau wrote: Does anyone have a nice Photo or description of an original CD-30 hull stripe below the toe rail. Re: CD-30 Hull Stripe
Captain Rau,
It was like automotive stripping tape. The main tape was just that, only a straight tape. The ends were different. The ends included the CD-30, and an arrow shape. As luck would have it, I have a spare stripe and end piece.
Do you have a fax available? Maybe I could copy it here at work and then fax it to you. It is brown, and it was a factory option. Maybe then you could match it up with something available today. I remain Sir.....your most HUMBLE servant......
