The tops of my PVC cowl vents are sticky. Any suggestions on cleaning and keeping them from getting sticky.

I used wet sandpaper and lots of water to resurface the tops of mine...started with 320 then 400 and finally 600..they look like new

Hi Mark
When I wash the boat I use a soap/bleach mixture. all I do is put the cowls in the bucket and when I'm done with the cockpit, the cowls are clean and white.
