Found another George Stadel Designed boat from 1940. He, as many know
designed the Greenwich 24 which became the CD25 under Cape Dory management.

Thanks for the link. It is a lovely little ship indeed. I have from time to time indulged my curiosity by searching for info on Mr. Stadel. While he lacks the prominence of Carl Alberg, Phil Rhodes, or Olin Stevens, there are some fine boats out there with his name on them, including some of the Egg Harbor powerboats. A "Google" search I just did turned up designs by George Stadel, George Stadel Jr., and George Stadel III.

It seems that most of his designs ended up in one-off or limited production boats. It is my understanding that he owned sever S/S wood
racing boats on Long Island Sound. More than one of his designs ended up as a mainstay of Cheoy Lee..
