Re: Ahhh. The thread about painting your bottom @ midnight.

Well, Captains Stump AND Heintz were together in planning the pillage of the American fleet. Then there seemed to be a falling out after a little known race. Now we hear of Captains Kaplan and Heintz planning their strategy for their next race. Then Lady Catherine seems to get caught up in, what my CIC would call "male posturing". And a mysterious "pleasure cruise" down the East river, thru/near high security area. All very interesting. Maybe should call it "As the Cape Dory Turns"??? And I didnt really include anything about painting one's bottom @ midnite, although have done barrier coats close to midnite.

And just want to get all to think about what is happening.

John and Marsha in "As the Dory Turns"

Post by Mark Yashinsky »

and we rejoin John (purist, wanting a simple tiller sloop he can blast around single hanned) and Marsha (not the purist who arm gets tired quickly and wants more creature comforts (HOT WATER!!!), discuss which boat they should look for. Do they look at the CD27 in Florida or the CD25 in Marylandor, as Marsha want, look at the CD30 up in Cape Cod.

Engineer Yashinsky,

You are starting to worry me! The very coinage of your brain, "As The Dory Turns" makes me think that you've traded in your engineer's slide rule for the soap opera writer's word processor. A dangerous thing to do for a nautical man. Get your bearings! Steady on! Don't lose sight of your landmarks!! Uhhh! When do you expect to finish the next chapter? With winter coming it may keep us all "tuned in".

"As the Dory Turns" story suggestions

Post by Mark Yashinsky »

This is the best as it gets on a Monday, but its a free thread... Also suggestions on what to do for the winter (depending on the boat they get). Marsha (the bigger boat) wants to run her south for the winter (Caribbean???) and cruise. John (the smaller) wants to haul her during the winter to upgrade, clean the fiberglass and teak and add some toys. What will they do??? Can tune in on Friday )when my mind really looses a few screws) and we may find out what happened before, during and after that dusk swim off teh boat (in the buff, of course). Hey, its a soap opera, not real life.
