cd 25 lifting straps questions

Post by greg phillips »

I am trying to avoid using a marine travel lift to remove my cd25 from the water. A nearby high/dry type storage facility will accomodate me if I provide my own lifting straps for his marine forklift. I'll be going directly to my trailer from the water. There was a posting some time ago concerning this but I can't find it. If anyone could help me with any advice or first hand knowledge of this I would appreciate it. Greg;
I am not aware of the earlier posting, but in my area we do not have many travel lifts. Instead we use a boom truck. They should have these straps that you need. Maybe one would loan you a set or rent them from an industrial supply company. The boom trucks usually charge us $50.00 to $100.00 per lift depending on the number of boats coming out.
