Trunk Top fairlead

Post by John Snow »

Wanted: I'm looking for one of the swivel sliding fairleads that mounts on the cabin top of a Typhoon Weekender. Just completed a total refit of a '74 TY and can't find this piece. It was there when I started a couple of years ago. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi John, What I have on my cabin trunk (74Typhoon 336) is a single NON SWIVELING bullseye. It is phenolic material. I don't find it in my 1981 Schaefer catalog however there is a "Plastic swiveling bullseye on a stainless steel slide with screw pin stop". The part number for the 15/16"x3/16" track is 76-32. for the 1"x1/8" track the part number is 76-33. THIS IS A 1981 CATALOG so numbers may have changed and at that the parts might be discontinued. The picture looks like what you are describing.
