Curtain Rods?

I am looking to put curtains inside my CD 33, Galileo. I contacted East Coast Embroidery, which was recommended here. They carry the original Cape Dory curtains (Robinhood/Spartan does not). The only problem is they don't carry the curtain rods, and neither does Robinhood. Does anybody know where I can find these??

The Cape Dory is such a neat looking boat people on the dock are always trying to look inside!

Our 27 has what I believe are original curtains still hanging. They are getting a bit thin so this year I decided I would make replacements but have yet to find the tape with "tabs" which hang the curtains from the tracks. I wonder if you are looking for rods or tracks. If the rods you are looking for are three piece tracks that are like we have I would appreciate any data you may get on finding these because I may be able to find the curtain tab tape not far behind. I am about to take the old tabs off and apply it to new curtains but I thought it might be easier to replace than rebuild.

I suggest you contact Constantine at East Coast Embroidery. Their number is: 401-434-9224. He has been extremely helpful and even though they don't carry rods he is helping me track some down. He has even promised to go out and look at other Cape Dory 33s to see exactly what I need!

ECE makes the original Cape Dory curtains with the tabs attached. Good luck.

You guys should use Walt's search utility it's quite good... I copied this from the March '98 discussion on CD curtain hardware.

"M&E Marine as already mentioned has all the hardware. It is the exact same as used on the CD's. Their phone number is
1-800-541-6501 for U.S. or Fax. 609-757-9175. International phone orders use 609-541-6500. You can request a catalog
to do mail order or if You are in the New Jersey area, they have retail stores in Collingswood,Trenton and Northfield NJ and
Glasgow, DE. I don't believe they have a WEB page. I find them to carry items that none of the other mail order companies do. "

I actually did just that and called M&E first. They didn't know what I was talking about.... Maybe they don't carry this stuff anymore. But thanks for the help anyway.
