Fellow CD Skippers:
I am making a pilgrimage to Maine (for my 25th High School Reunion) Aug 10 to the 14th. Would love to see the Maine Coast aboard a Cape Dory.
Is anyone planning a day trip for the 9th or 11th that could use crew or could take a moderately experienced passenger

Whereabouts in Maine?

We just got back from 2 weeks of cruising the Maine coast (joining up with the 2001 CDSOA Cruise to Maine flotilla). I'm not sure I can get the Admiral's permission to set sail again so soon - I face many weekends of parks, beaches, grandparents and Storyland (but no high school reunions that I know of) in partial payment for my debts incurred - but, if allowed, I have a CD30 moored in Casco Bay at Falmouth that I may be able to take you on the 11th.

We have a CD26 in Falmouth as well. Where are you headed in Maine?
And where do you keep your CD30?
After completing a 1 week cruise up the Maine Coast to Castine, we have just returned to - inlaws!!! So, the 9th is out but there is a chance we might sail the evening of the 11th.

My reunion is in Madison. Its about an hour North - Sat evening would be great. I leave tomorrow and the reunion is Friday evening. Drop me an e-mail and I can give you the number of the cell phone I will be wearing.
I took up sailing 10 years ago after leaving Maine. Its ironic, I have never enjoyed Maine's beautiful coast from a sailing vessel.
My CD is now in Deltaville Virginia. Deltaville is at the mouth of the Rappahannock River where it enters the Chesapeake.
