I purchased two boats from an estate. The one was advertised as CD22. Upon receipt of the title, the title indicates the boat is a 1964 Seafarer 22. I have looked at the Seafarer website and also posted on this site for info regarding Seafarer. The boats are very different and the boat in question looks exactly like a CD22, it looks nothing like a Seafarer.
I have scoured the boat and can find no Hull ID, nor any other identifying information. The Hull # on the title is "K127." Does this hull number correspond with other CD22 hull numbers? What years were CD22's built? This website indicates 1981-85.
Any info to help me solve the mystery would be greatly appreciated.

Re: CD22 hull #'s
Woody,
It sounds to me as if the estate has given you the wrong paperwork for the Cape Dory, or you don't have a Cape Dory at all. Andy Vavolotis wasn't building 22s in 1964; I doubt he was building much more than the CD-10, since he only started in 1963.
