hey folks! well first off i launched nancy on friday! everything went great! she is now moored in the dorchester outer bay...boat closest to the drawbridge on the outside...the only problem i have is there is no place to keep a dingy on shore there, and, i dont own a car to drive a digny around...so ive been getting to the boat by paddling out in a small inflatable innertube! ive been getting a few odd looks but the weathers been great and the waters not too cold...
a few questions though...my boat didnt come with a boom vang. do most cd 25?s
also, the main sail is pretty ragged looking. i think it needs to be replaced. what are its measurements?
thanks

I don't think a boom vang was standard equipment. SHWEEGO is a 1978 model and does not have a boom vang. But I plan to install one next season. As for sail size, I think if you just take your old one to your local sailmaker, they will be able to use it as a template. Other CD25 owner's in your area may know of a sailmaker who already knows the demensions and what features to include. There is such a thing as a folding dinghy. Check the classifieds in SAIL or similar mag.
