I am thinking of installing an engine hour meter on my Yanmar 1GM in the CD25D. Any suggestions on wiring it in? And brands?
thanks

Re: Engine Hour Meter
Found this on rec.boats news group in response to my post.
Any old engine timer will do, I personally use the one sold by West Marine (the square one). Take the hot side of the meter and connect it to your oil pressure sender. Take the ground side of the meter and tie it to ground. The timer will run as long as the pressure is up and both the engine and the timer will stop with no oil presure
