Pictures!
Having spent the weekends for the past six months working on Zingara, I thought I would share a few pictures. The boot is bristol brown (similar to the cape dory brown no longer available to my knowledge). I stripped all the teak and refinished in armada satin finish (which was on the boat when I bought it in October 2000). The armada was easy to apply and I like the results - we'll see how it weathers. Hopefully launch this weekend!

Re: Pictures!
Absolutely beautiful. You have raised the standard - I will put my slaves to work on my boat immediately.
Re: Pictures!
The only thing that makes my eye wander from my own CD is another good looking Cape Dory. Not only is Zingara a great looking boat even the yard looked neat as a pin. Have a great season.

Re: Pictures!
Bill,
If you put the URL for one of the photos in the Optional Image URL box, you can see the image as if it were embedded in the email. This only works for one photo, but it is really cool. Zingara looks great!

Re: Pictures!
Nice looking boat. In fact it looks so good for a '78 I went ahead and tried to included one of the images in this post. I hope you don't mind. You should be proud of her and she looks great compared to the modern hulls in the yard with her. Where is Deltaville anyway?Bill Kerkam wrote: Having spent the weekends for the past six months working on Zingara, I thought I would share a few pictures. Re: Pictures!
I don't know if others are having the same problem with the image not showing up in the message box like I'm having. All I see is the torn image icon in a box. Same thing with the image Ken tried to post in his message. I'm using Netscape and posted the entire Yahoo image URL line and yet the photo does not appear. Perhaps Walt or Catherine would be kind enough to explain why or maybe someone else knows why and will respond.John R. wrote:Nice looking boat. Got the same torn stamp icon. If you right click and then try to view the image, you get a message that indicates that access by foreign hosts is forbidden. Hmmmm.....

Deltaville
John, Deltaville is in Virginia - mouth of Rappahannock River - lower/mid Chesapeake bay. I don't know why the photo can't be linked - I designated the Yahoo location "public access". Thanks for the kind comments. -Bill Kerkam

Re: Pictures!
Weird because when I right click icon to view image I get linked to the primary Yahoo page not the individual photo page that I should have appeared in the message box. When I do the same with the icon in your message box I get the same message you got. Really weird and without a doubt a problem for Walt or Catherine.Ken Coit wrote: Got the same torn stamp icon.
