Thought I would share a few pictures of Zingara but am not sure how to post. Copying and pasting into text box does not work. Can this be done?? Sorry for my ignorance.

How to post a picture?

Re: How to post a picture?
You need to "link" to an HTML page for the photo. I believe that is the only way it will work and it has to be listed in the image URL box.Bill wrote: Thought I would share a few pictures of Zingara but am not sure how to post. Catherine or Walt will correct me if I'm wrong.

In addition take a look at Ken Coits message dated 6/25 regarding sanitation. He posted a West Marine head illustration for reference. He may have wrote the HTML in the message body, I'm not sure. Maybe if you send him an e-mail he will explain to you how he did it.John R. wrote:You need to "link" to an HTML page for the photo. Re: How to post a picture?
Not me, I'm no HTML guru. All I did using Netscape was go to the West Marine page on marine sanitation, find the figure I liked, move the cursor to it, right click to get options about what to do, click on "Copy Image Location" and then paste it into the box you find at the bottom of every "Follow-up" frame by hitting Ctrl and V simultaneously.
The wonders of the bulletin board system do all the rest.
This necessitates having two browser windows open so you can move between the bulletin board site and the other site (e.g., www.westmarine.com), but that is easily accomplished in Netscape by clicking sequentially on File, New, Navigator Window.
If you want to use your own images, you will have to first post them to a web site that we can all reach. I'd show you an example, but, believe it or not, I don't have a page set up or any images posted. I guess I ought to do that once I get Parfait as perfect as her name.

THANKS
Thanks Ken and others who responded to my inquiry. I actually created a picture web page through Yahoo.com. Its very simple and a free service. All you do is select a user name and password and upload your pictures. The link is provided and can be emailed. I posted my link on the BB today - Hopefully it works! Thanks again. -Bill
