Remedy got a new impeller last week, and now the hoses look a little tired. They look to be a little larger than 1/2", but not as big as 5/8", and it is also clear that most of the hoses have been replaced at some point, so what is there is not OEM anyway.
Oldport Marine does not stock the hoses, and couldn't tell me the diameter. The service manual is no help. Does anyone have the spec?

Worse than I thought
The folks at Oldport Marine tell me that two of the four hoses I need are no longer made, and they don't have the other two (curiously, it seems that the straight hoses are available (somewhere) but the molded hoses are not).
Permanent unavailability of replacement parts means, of course, that failure is imminent. Any ideas?

Have you tried Mack Boring...the big Yanmar dealer in Union, New Jersey. I took a diesel course there and they have a huge parts department. Try www.mackboring.com I also know that Larry Berlin who taught the diesel course might have some suggestions if Mack Boring can't get you the hoses.
Hope this helps.
