Just an FYI. Saw a CD 19 at a local marina the other day. Kind of tough shape, chalky gel coat, cracked floor, beyond grey teak, broken port wood rubrail with a substantial length missing, winches that do not winch, stiff running rigging, old standing, soft sails. Original trailer, original paint, rusted badly.......and get this he wants over $7000 for it!
In my opinion, the guy was arrogant, offensive, and not only unwilling to move on the price...but wouldn't even get out of his vehicle to talk about it....too bad guys like this are out there. They give used car salespeople a good name by comparision....

SRM: Wow, small world. I talked to that same guy (who I think is either a partner or something at Shorewood Yacht Club- where the Ty's located). I agree. About as much personality as a wheat thin. If his poor attitude doesn't scare potential owners away, the price certainly will!SRM wrote: Just an FYI. Saw a CD 19 at a local marina the other day. Shrewed Seller. Just think...by this time next year he can still be sitting in his car asking 7G for a boat that may need almost that much in work to get it operational. I'm surprised he isn't asking for 10K.
