Currently I have a CD25 with an old 10hp Honda. The engine throttle has been mounted on a teak bracket in the cockpit with the throttle cable going from this bracked back through the engine opening to the engine. I'm thinking about replacing this engine with a new Honda 5hp model and would like to hear from someone who has this setup. How did you mount your engine throttle? Did you disconnect it as my current throttle is arranged? I spoke with a Honda Tech rep. who told me that the new 5hp throttle can be unbolted. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: CD25 - 5 hp Honda application question
Don't know about the 5 HP but the throttle ass'y on my 8 HP can be removed and replaced in 5 min. after you have done it a couple of times. It's easy (don't drop the nut or the bolt)!David Hodos wrote: Currently I have a CD25 with an old 10hp Honda.
