looking for screens for opening ports

The insect screening on the opening ports for my newly obtained CD27 are missing. Does anyone either have any they would like to sell or know of a source where I can get replacements ?? Thanks for your help.

The screens are a little pricey ( when multiplied by 6 or 8), but if taken care of they'll last quite a while. We just replaced our original screens(1982) two years ago. Amortized out it's roughly $1 per year per screen. The new ones are made of a more UV resistant plastic and unlike the previous owner of our boat we remove them every fall. I expect to get even more life out of the new ones. Also if you order them through a company in Peabody, MA they give a 20% discount off list/calling Spartan direct. The name of the store is Marine Exchange. They apply this discount to all Spartan products.

Go ahead and spluge-it's a great feeling to taunt those mosquitos from your well ventilated cabin.

I had a bunch of 16 ga. copper left over from a roofing project a few years ago.Cut 2 patterns for each port,sandwich some copper screen between them and solder neatly.File the out side edges smooth. Should last quite awhile unless someone punches a hole in it.
