3-prong wire connectors for CD30

Post by Don Metznik »

The masthead/foredeck light setup on my CD30 has three wires ending in a 3-prong connector at the base of the mast that allows the wires to be easily disconnected when stepping the mast. I'd like to replace the original connector but can't find a replacement. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Cole-Hersee makes the connectors and I think any reasonable marine store carry them. The three prong connector is a very common thing.

A 4 prong connector will also work. Just use three of the 4 prongs. most automotive or marine stores will carry them.

Don,

West Marine carried the 3 pin plugs previously, but they list only the 2 and 4 pin versions now. The 4 pin would work of course, just leave one free. Buy a couple, and keep one for a spare. West Marines p/n is 211904 ($12.99) for the 4 pin plug.

Cheers!
