Non skid

Re: Non skid
I used Dri-Dek panels.
Easy to cut to fit and easy to clean.
Will send a picture later.
I also used them in the anchor locker to keep the anchor and rode dry.

Re: Non skid
those dri-dek panels are mildew resistant too.
Re: Non skid
Here's how they look in the cockpit.
These are older and mismatched colors.

Re: Non skid
I use kiwi grip. Simple to apply. Lasts a long time. Easy to touch up.
Re: Non skid
Thx all
A lot of people have used kiwi grip and are happy with the results
I think I will go with a qt and do the cockpit sole and go from there if I like the results

Pete
Couple things about kiwi grip. I have found it works best for me if I tape and then apply it very thin with a foam roller. Pull the tape immediately. Then retape and apply it creating the stipple you desire. I have found if you don't apply that thin first coat you'll get some peek through with only one coat.
Another thing. The more aggressive you make the stipple the harder it is to keep clean. Also you can make it so aggressive you can't sit on it. I have found I require very little stipple for it to provide good non skid properties and remain easy to clean.
