Oxidation on Seacock

Oxidation on Seacock
In removing my battery for the winter, I noticed a great deal of bluish green oxidation on my port seacock for my cockpit drains, while the starboard one is clear. The seacock is relatively close to my positive battery terminal, as well as my controller for my solar panel. Does anyone have any idea what is going on and what I should do about it, other than clean it? Sorry about the 90 degree rotation on my photo. Thanks.

Re: Oxidation on Seacock
It’s just naturally occurring verdigris which will form upon exposure to air or seawater. You may want to check your hose for a slight leak or it may just be condensation forming and following the hose down to the seacock. I see no issue to be concerned about in this photo.
If verdigris is good enough for the Statue of Liberty it’s good enough for me
