CD 36 Mast Replacement

Post by Stormjib »

i just bought CD36 #64. It needs a new mast. Has anyone replaced a mast on a CD36? What mast did you use? Any advice is greatly apreciated.

John Stone is a frequent contributor and has completed a full refurbishment and modification of his CD 36 Far Reach. This is a link to his site as relates to mast and rigging but he has also posted numerous updates here.

Can someone tell me what make model mast was on a 1982 CD 36. Rig-Rite says a CD-5 but the mast step looks different.

It was a CD5. After keeping the the original from the Far Reach in the back yard for 10 years (with only of few inquires) I finally cut it up two years ago and took it to the metal recycler. 🤦🏻‍♂️
