Hatch Gaskets for CD 330

Post by pvisich »

Looking for recommendations for hatch gasket replacement for a CD 330 1986 that is leaking. Appreciate any thoughts and if there is a replacement material other than purchasing Bowmar original gasket material. Thanks, Paul

When I replaced the gaskets I used the Bowmar gasket material as it had a stripe of contact cement which made installation fast and simple. The only alternative is to order EPDM cord stock from McMaster-Carr. If you go that route you have to apply your own contact cement to both surfaces prior to installation. It’s not difficult but it is a bit of a pain.

Thanks for sharing this information. I think I will pull a piece out and head down to Hamiltons to see if I can match it. I assume it comes in different sizes. Thanks again. Paul
