Interesting take on the Key Bridge disaster: that the pilot threw the ship into full astern (with not enough stopping distance to the bridge) and threw the bow to starboard (stern to port) when a better strategy might have been to go full ahead/hard to port and attempt to clear the central span of the bridge.

Initially I thought prop walk too especially based on the black smoke at the stack. But I read while they got the generator back on line they never got the engine back on line. Don't know if that's true. I supposed will know the details when the NTSB completes the investigation.

Just reading the time line it seems like they did a lot fairly quickly. I assume a port pilot had the con. Interesting.
