Float-in Information: (preliminary)

This year’s Narragansett Bay Float-in will be held in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Saturday, July 20. Moorings are available at the East Greenwich Yacht Club (EGYC) and may be made through Dockwa. Participants are encouraged to make their reservations early, as East Greenwich is a popular harbor during the summer.
For members who wish to participate, please make your reservations early. Moorings should also be available if you are coming in Friday night or staying over Sunday night. Moorings are $50.00 a night. EGYC has a launch service for those that would like to go ashore upon arrival. Again, please go to Dockwa and make your reservations early (I just made mine!). On the Dockwa registration form, where ask special requests, be sure to add ‘Cape Dory Float-in’. EGYC is aware of our plans and will give priority to our group.
The tentative plan is to meet Saturday afternoon for boat visits and Dark and Stormys. We will be making a group reservation at a local restaurant for dinner – the launch will take us ashore and there are several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.
